Paul has worked in social work and social care for 26 years, 20 of these in a management position in the charitable sectors and local government. Paul is currently the strategic lead for Older People, Mental health and Carers for social work in Perth and Kinross leading a team of 200. Much of Paul’s work has involved developing new and inclusive services, working in co-production with the people that use these services. Paul is deeply committed to improving mental health services across the age range and he views Miricyl as a much-needed charity to fill the gap in research on children and young people’s mental health.
